Silly iPhone Not!

Tonight I'm going to mention a handy little app I use occasionally called Shazam if you haven't heard about it yet it's really quite fetching. I mean that literally...have you ever heard a song on the radio and couldn't remember the name, well that is where Shazam comes in. You hear a song, you activate the app, it listens to the song and amazingly brings you back the name and artist. It's really cool, often you have the chance to buy a ringtone or watch a youtube video.

If the song is real old and not mainstream it may not find it, but all in all it's a neato, cool app especially for us folks that don't have satellite radio.

The iPhone G3 car charger most essential to have especially for cross country trips. I have a iPhone car charger, my son doesn't (or a license yet either, but he has a car)

So let me tell you a story about why you should have a car charger or two...My son, a very handsome young marine was recently stationed at Camp Pendleton his dad drove him (in his car he doesn't have a license to drive yet) cross country to California.

I let my son borrow my iPhone car charger and GPS too, knowing my ex would drive nearly straight thru and not stop in a hotel to charge the phone, or to sleep. It's some sort of Man Thing.

It made perfect sense, I could check on my son during his estimated 3 day trip to Cali from WV without appearing to worry. Without the iPhone G3 car charger I would have lost contact with my son after about the first day. (He's a texting machine and wears that iPhone out!)

My plan worked beautifully we spoke several times during the trip. My ex dropped off the son at the base, hopped a plane with my car charger and GPS and returned them to me, although it was several days later. I really missed my car charger (not as much as my son of course) you don't realize how convenient they are until yours goes missing. I highly recommend getting a car charger or two!

Like the Scosche Premium Car Charger for the Apple iPhone / iPod - IPCHRG - It's less expensive than the iPhone original. Take the extra money stick it in your gas tank and enjoy a long ride to wherever you might want to go, cause with it your minutes might run out but your battery won't.

Cartier withdrew it's lawsuit against Apple over the look a like famous wristwatch application "Fake Watch", which was pulled from the app store. Ha, just as I suspected!

The missing application I mean, I didn't know how the lawsuit would go, apparently not at all.

It appears that Apple is being sued by Cartier the Jeweler over an application that resembles a watch made 92 years ago named the "Tank".

A third party company Digitopolis Co create the app "Fake Watch" which resembles look a like famous wristwatches.

I did a search at the app store today and couldn't find any app named Fake Watch, I also did a search for Digitopolis Co and they had 4 apps but the app in question was not found.

I wonder if they snatched it? Comments about the suing ranged both in favor of Apple being punished to the full extent of the law and Cartier for being silly.

Since I couldn't find the application I did look up the Cartier Tank Watch, you have got to see this to believe it. Cartier American Tank - W26019L1 Ladies Watch

i don't know about you but i love my iPhone, i've had it for a couple months now and found a few useful apps, which i'll talk about at a later time. You may have noticed my i's are not capped, i'm not sure if i will keep that up through the whole blog but we will see :)
