Filing Income Taxes? Use Your iPhone

They say nothing is certain in life except death and taxes well how about iPhone’s and taxes?

Tax season is here are you ready? You are if you have an iPhone. By the end of January, you should have your W-2's in hand and be ready to visit your local tax preparers office to file your 2010 Federal and State income tax.

Oh, wait you don’t have to go to the office in fact you can file your income tax from about anywhere with SnapTax Mobile App for iPhone one of many Turbo Tax programs. While previously available only in California the SnapTax Mobile App for the iPhone is available nationwide.

The SnapTax app uses OCR (optical character recognition) to take a photo of your W-2's then transfers the data onto the tax return. It will ask you a few questions then snap your taxes are done, you confirm then electronically file.

Therefore, if you are apple oops able to file a 1040EZ form you should be good to go. While the iPhone app is free, you will have to pay TurboTax 15.00 to prepare and file the forms.

Here is a video demonstrating just how simple this process is.
